What we collect, and what we do not

What we collect

• When you send an enquiry: your name, email, and anything else you choose to put in the form such as a phone number, your dates, and who is travelling.
• When you browse: standard analytics about which pages were visited and roughly where in the world the visit came from. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
• We do not ask for, and do not want, anything sensitive at this stage.

Why we collect it

• To answer your enquiry and quote you a real price. That is the whole of it.
• Analytics tells us which pages are useful so we stop wasting effort on the ones that are not.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information. Not to anyone, at any price.
• We do not add you to a mailing list because you enquired. If we ever start a mailing list you will have to ask to be on it.
• We do not share your details with other property managers or lead brokers.

Who else sees it

• Google Analytics, for the browsing statistics described above. Google sets cookies to do this. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser, and the site will still work.
• Hostaway, our booking system, if you go on to make a booking. Your reservation details live there.
• Nobody else. We are a small owner-operated business, not an advertising network.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries are kept while they are useful and then deleted. If you ask us to delete yours, we will, and you do not have to give a reason.
• Booking records are kept as long as we are required to for tax and accounting.

Your choices

• Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you.
• Ask us to correct it or delete it and we will.
• Block cookies in your browser if you would rather not be counted.
